Breaking News from WFAA Dallas: Two Bit Circus Unveils the World of Micro Amusement Park in Dallas
WFAA focuses on the recent grand opening of Two Bit Circus, a micro amusement park that recently opened at The Shops at Park Lane in Dallas.
To help explain to WFAA what a micro amusement park is, Andy Levey, chief marketing officer for Two Bit Circus, describes a micro amusement park as being comprised of various zones that use technology to provide a taste and thrill similar to what one would experience at a full-scale amusement park.
For example, “The Midway” is a zone in Two Bit Circus that features games fit for a carnival, including classic skee-ball and similar games, but with technology-enhanced experiences. Guests can also enjoy a virtual reality arena that allows them to ride rollercoasters or fight zombies, providing a thrilling and immersive experience.
“Two Bit Circus’ story rooms” are the park’s version of escape rooms, offering various challenges and puzzles for guests to solve in a shorter duration of 18 to 20 minutes. These story rooms provide interactive and engaging experiences, such as performing surgery or solving exciting mysteries, adding an element of adventure to the micro amusement park.
