LA Explorers Club : The Dawn of Downtown
July 20, 2014 @ 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm$10
Our 2BC Big Top shop located at the Brewery Arts Colony, well known for its previous life as an Edison Electric Power Plant, is one of the stops along this cool downtown route! Sure to be a good time, so grab tickets as there’s only a few spots left!
The Los Angeles Explorers Club is a band of curious, urban adventurers in search of the secret places, treasures, stories and legends in our city. And we do this on bikes. Our rides are thoughtfully planned by guest curators around different themes and neighborhoods.
New Belgium Brewing and LA-based non-profit group, CICLE, believed in our idea to start this club and have supported us to get our pedals moving.
The ride gathers at Artisan House in Downtown LA (600 S. Main St.) at 3pm for some registration-mingle-beer thirty business before we pedal off to start the ride. We’ll make a handful of cool stops and hear some stories about old Downtown LA as it was building its way into the history books. We’ll end the ride at Villains Tavern (1356 Palmetto) around 6:30pm for some music, beers and fun. All rides are 21yrs. or older.

Length of Ride: Less than 10 miles
Parking: If you need to drive to the ride, there are 3 public pay-parking concrete lots on the corner of Main St. and 6th St. directly adjacent to Artisan House, our starting location. Parking shouldn’t be a problem here.
